Must have more speed

Right belt replaced , 5.5 rollers in .
Result it's quicker and more fun but it's still dragging it's arse on the hills , what is the next option , gy6 baotion monza 50 .
Any guidance is much appreciated.

 

contrast spring in the rear clutch pulley.

the contrast spring governs when the rear pulley opens out, a stiffer contrast spring means the scooter stays in a lower ratio for longer before its overpowered and then shifts to a higher ratio your looking at around a 10-30% more than stock contrast spring, something like a white or blue contrast spring.

this means as you roll off the gas the rear pulley gets closed quicker and a low ratio is enabled, the faster the rpm gets the more the spring is overriden and a higher ratio is then engaged

It will alway's be slow, it's a 4t moped, a 70cc barrel will help but it's never going to be fast!

 

Yeah, but kicking them off their bikes to get in front isn't really cricket now is it....................
