Muffler

    Do you have to replace the muffler gasket each time you remove the muffler - number 7 in this image

    only if it gets fucked up....
    on my VF the muffler gaskets are non existant..... (mainly because the collocter box is more holes than metal so i didnt replace them)
    its just louder if its not there/broken

    It's quite a substantial gasket on the muffler - I had to wriggle off the muffler from the pipe when I disassembled it - hopefully I've not fucked up the gasket - I'll know soon once the paint has cured and I reassemble it

    Use copper slip on it when you replace it, it will come come off easy next time!
