how the hell do you stop your back wheel moving when you want to undo the clutch assembly?

Haynes manual says "use a home made tool..." So far Ive bent 4 screw drivers, each being progressively thicker than the last...

Either use a impact gun or the proper tool, you'll only end up breaking something if you use screwdrivers.

Just invest in some good tools, you won't regret it.

Air gun tool and hold the back brake..
Piece of wood wedged in the rear wheel stops it moving too much

if you don't have access to any air tools, get a clutch locking tool, there about £10 and most scooter websites stock them.

Helps to invest in a decent tool set so budget for one, it will pay itself back when you use it, you could also budget more and get air tools aswell but for most people hand tools are fine :)

well ive shredded most of my hex screws too. I think I will go spend some pennies on some proper kit this weekend. I suppose its worth it, If I have the kit to do it all myself it saves on mechanics at the end of the day :)

it doesnt work to hold the brake, just use like i said, a hammer handle, a block of wood, a t bar, a breaker bar, a set of handle bars, pretty much anything thats kinda beefy that wont bend too easy, sometimes they are loctited in and torqued up with an airgun then they are tight
