depends who's doin the MOT i got the same problem i know someone who passed there MOT with the same problem so it jus depends
well i can go back within 10 days at the one near mine or i could last year so hopefully they will pass straight away or ill be in need of sum very fast delivery
Apparently a 'bulb' horn will no longer pass an mot :cray:[/quote] I was advised that the horn has to be a 'constant' sound, had a bit of trouble with a runner a while back with a dodgy button, it would work if you just pressed and let go but if you held it it would go on and off!
got a question on my runner all electrics star working only when i start the bike , would that still pass me trough mot?
need help guys , got my typhoon ready for mot , but i dont have a stand , i mean any it just leans on the wall . will it fail because of that ? thanks
Its not a fail in itself but they might be a bit arsey as obviously they need some way of keeping it upright
going to mot my bike soon, but my brake levers are a bit wobbly, my seat latch isnt thre anymore and i have the r8 style front light.... also replaced brake light switch today brake light still doesnt work... any of the above 100% fails? apart from brake light obviously lol
yh i checked it with them today they said i have to have one , sorted it out already. Chubz it all depends on person whos doing the mot he might let u go, but if its a picky one u will fail mate
it dont matter how the bikes started as long as they can start it to do the test. I took my 1000 for the MOT the other year and the battery went flat at the test station. I just bumped it for the tester and then let him carry on with the test...passed no probs....then i bought a new battery when I got home
