Check the reviews, see what others say about them. Whichever one you go for, it needs to take a 12mm pin at the piston end to be able to take the higher revs and you will need very good quality bearings (NTN, INA, FAG, SKF etc). Some things are cheap for a reason... you get what you pay for.
I've found a used Malossi one for 70 euros. Heres a picture http://imageshack.com/a/img268/8413/k8gz.jpg
For not much more money you could get a new one such as an Ateck, once you factor in the price of new bearings. Do you plan to trust the old bearings on this crank?
Stage 6 do SKF heavy duty quality bearing kits at around £23 or so, depending on the model. Naraku are a bit dearer, NTN are a bit cheaper.
Then by changing the bearings it should be alright then? I know by spending a bit more i could get a new one but a Malossi is a Malossi, if you know what i mean.
Yeah, get the Malossi crank but change the bearings, as anything else is false economy and you don't know what slop or side play there is in the bearings. I'd get a new small end bearing as well while you are at it, then you know that it's all pretty much tip-top in the engine room.
Yep thats what im thinking. I just wanna make sure its in good condition before i buy it. Can you tell if there's anything fishy from the picture?
