Right so my nrg is finally running again but it wont pull away. When its on the center stand the wheel does spin when i open the throttle but no where near as fast as it should.

am i right in thinking this is to do with the clutch?

i changed clutch springs while it wasnt working so im guessing i did something wrong when installing them :emb:

    any ideas?

    Thanks

yeh ive switched back to my standard airbox and cleaned it.

dont see how that would effect the drive to the rear wheel tho?

i had a little red yamaha jog off road bike
and i took it off road and it got loads of shit in the airfilter
wouldnt drive would only tick over
and when its on the stand it would rev a little
soo it just sounded like that!

hmm yeah that sounds almost exactly the same. Ill give it another good clean tomorrow, if that fails ill have a poke around the tranny and see if everything looks normal

Have cleaned the air filter but nothing changed.

Got the tranny case off and everything looks normal to me

Im considering taking the plunge and ordering a whole new transmission set up as everyting is stock aside from rollers and springs. Would that be very beneficial or just a waste of money?

Ok so i fitted a new contra spring and clutch today and there was a slight improvement, it actually pulls away now but only to like 5mph or less.

I decided to switch back to my standard airbox too so ive down-jetted from an 85 to a 78 but have seen no noticable improvements.

Checked the rollers too and they're in perfect condition.

Im so confused, any ideas anyone?
