so i've got an aerox, and i'm stuck with this problem i'm having with it.

    i've currently go on it;

    doppler s3r
    red stiffer torsion spring
    running 5.5g rollers

so not much going on really,

The problem i have is that acceleration is intermittantly boggy, sometimes when i set off it'll fly off the line, where as other times it'll bog down till about 15mph then kick in again. So after setting off, bogging down or not, when i hit 30 on the speedo the revs drop and it crawls up to 35mph on the speedo and the revs pick back up and increase through to 45mph, the acceleration from 35 to 45 is quick but after 45 on the speedo it will hardly budge, however when i hit a bank and go slightly off the speedo.. this is hard to explain but it feels like something kicks in, the ride gets smoother and shoots way off the speedo at a decent speed but as soon as i hit flat again i can feel the bike pull and slow down, and watch the speedo settle back to around 45mph :cray:

Also say if i come to a roundabout at 35 and try to accelerate there is nothing there, the revs just stay low and i have to wait till i pick up some speed then it kicks in again.

When i first put the pipe on i was running a mix of 4.5 and 5.5g rollers and all seemed good, it hardly bogged down and the top end was decent. The only thing i've changed since then was tried a new polini belt.. it bogged down when i put it on so i replaced it with the standard one but it still bogged down :(

I dont know what will cause all this bogging from setting off or around 30 mph, and the new poor top end i'm getting out of it at the moment, but i dont know what to try or do.

I know it's a bit of an essay and it might be a simple fix but i'm clueless..

    Help is much appreciated!!

    cheers,
    chris.

clutch springs...tortion spring is also probably too stiff pushing it down into the low ratio your clutch doesent like working at... swap the tortion spring for a stocker and go tighter on the 3 clutch springs. once you do that let us know how it runs

    Cheers i'll let you know..

however i've ran it with the stock torsion spring and it bogs down till 40 on my speedo, it's horrible to ride! but yes i'll try it with the stock spring and 3 tighter ones and get back to you.

    cheers,
    chris.

yes mate all standard apart from rollers,

and minor i tried the tighter 3 springs and the stock ttorsion spring, it revved excessively off the line but it still bogged dow alot around 30 and in general was really sluggish.. :/

    cheers,
    chris.

rollers are too heavy then... if it revs its tits off off the line the clutch is free enough. go a litle softer on the 3 springs (not quite stock tho) and drop the roller weight. i bet the revs get lower the faster you go untill you reach around 30 and it starts to "bogg" its not bogging, its transmission stall :) the tortion/contra spring has little effect on acceleration unles its wrong, the stock is usually fine. its simply how much your clutch "holds" on to your variator when you off the throtle...

    :)

now double check the jetting. they lean out the more they rev.. its natural for a 2t carb
