Hi I am trying to get the nut off a moped back wheel as it needs a new drum brake. This nut is seized!

I have sprayed WD40, Carb Cleaner and Penetrator on to no avail.

The edges have started to round off so I don't want to try anything else until I know its got a good chance of working.

    Picture below.

    Any ideas?

Okay I have put a 2000w heat gun on it (see photo). Used WD40 etc. And tried to undo. No joy. Any more ideas. Photos of all used to try and undo attached. The nut just slipping more.

    More heat.
Its can't be stuck if you turn it to liquid.

I don't have anything to apply more heat. I am considering filing and drilling the nut off and then buying a new nut. A local bike mechanic said on rare occasions he has had no other choice but to do that.

File flats straight/then tightly chain back wheel to a strong fence so it has no chance of rotation - then try to take it off, worked for me last time.

Saw a thing on internet some time back! Candle wax rubbed in and heated. Need to run the wax into the thread I believe! I have no idea if it works or if it was a piss take but desperate times and all that! I believe it was something like a lighter to provide the heat as it’s only wax. No slagging me off as an idiot please, I’m only trying to help and no harm will be done by trying.

You need a blowtorch, not a heat gun.
6 sided impact socket, not 12 sides. New one, that other one looks shot and worn out.
Whack the compressor up to full pressure.

Failing that, get the dremmel out and cut a slot as far as you can then split it with a small hard chisel.
