    Hello everyone.
I am hoping that someone here knows what I am trying to explain, and has a way to fix my problem.

I have a Daelim Message, 60 Plate, which I have been running perfectly with no problems for about a year since buying second hand.
I just sorted the insurance and tax yesterday, and now, it decides to break on me.

The oil was not being fed correctly, so I have turned to manually mixing the oil and petrol at a 1:25 ratio, straight into the petrol tank. I have blocked any oil pipes so on.
The problem is that now, whenever I start the moped, it runs perfectly, when idle. As soon as I release the brake lock on the rear brake, and even touch the throttle, the revs go to max, and the wheel is spinning very fast. The engine is also very, very loud.

I have been told that the amount of air taken in will need to be changed now that the oil and petrol have been mixed in the tank, and I know that this is done with a small screw thing on the side next to the air filter. I am just not sure what I am doing with it though.

I would be extremely grateful if someone knows how to solve this.

Thank you very much in advance.

I have this with a few of my peds now ,all I done was screw the idle screw out and bit and played about wit it to get it idling right an not cutting out, you need to do this when the bike is warm if I remember rightly
    (screw in for higher revs)
    and
    (screw out for lower revs)
you will need to screw it out because its revving to high.

    ____________
are you sore the throttle is not getting stuck or the cable maybe, or mate sore the throttle is not getting stuck open in the carb .
try this and let me no how you get on :)

yeah, its the mix screw, you need to balance the mix screw and the idle screw, as a baseline, the mix screw setting is about 1 and half turns out, so screw it in all the way til it just goes tight, then screw it out 1 and a half turns. then if the preoblem is still there, turn it either in or out by a quarter, and see how it affects the idle.

I had the same problem with my typhoon 125 when I fitted a 25mm carb and it turned out to be the throttle cable
