Hi ther not been on here a while I bought a Yamaha aerox yq100 air cooled 02 plate a few months back. Its was beey cheap it was another project bike it needed a new cylinder and oil pump i got it on the road and was all fine then the exhaust went so has stadard pipe on did have a geanelli sprint pipe anyway I stripped the thread in the cylinder head so put in a helicoil insert it runs it will tick over but has no power at all my local bike mechanic has told me that the helicoil insert will have no effect on the power it used to do 65 top speed now its struggeling to hit 20mph it was in a trailer for about 15 miles not on its side just lent to the right I dont know if pitting your bike in a trailer can damage it if you can help with this id be very happy i need to hear your suggestions.
