Moped gangs in London...

    Tbh.was'nt paying attention,
    had just finished a 15 hr. shift & was bloody exhausted - just wanted to head home/get cleaned up & have a few cuppas/eat half the fridge & hit the sack.
    I had literally not been on the bike for more than a minute,when i pulled up to the 1st set of lights leaving the works &
    a tuned Peugeot Trekker pulled up alongside me,did'nt think much of it at 1st.eyed it a bit/thought to self would'nt turn my nose up at it fer sure -
    We found ourselves travelling the same 2 turn offs together -
    when we hit the lights on the second,all of a sudden i was 'swarmed' by about 7-8 bikes.couple of them 2 up - most flew straight through the lights with 2-3 having too do a few serious jigs around a couple of cars - 1 2up pair did stop at the lights/though & turned around giving me an my bike some serious eyeballing - fact i was on a slightly beaten up but servicable 15 year old commuter did'nt overly interest them too the point of doing something REALLY stupid.
    This shit's getting outta hand now methinks,even the Lorry drivers at work are having chats about it.

    Problem is the police are not actively doing anything about them at all. You literally have free reign to break the law and do all sorts of fucked up shit if you ride 2 wheels because if its stolen and you are wearing a helmet theres no way anyone can find out its you if the police arent actively trying to catch you. It makes me wonder why i go to work and do 12hour fucking shifts if i can just jump on two wheels and break the law and get away with it.

    Legit bikers are at war with these scumbags and were losing because we cant get away from these scumbags in the middle of london without breaking laws ourselves like jump a light to get away from them and if we do the police come down on us, if we injure them its us who gets done. The police just sit in their cars and watch as it all unfolds.

    The police need to declare war on these scumbags and run them down if they have to, when they start dying in the middle of the road they will soon think its a bad idea and criminals wont think its such a great idea anymore. Fuck the lot of them.

    the worst thing is the police cant even chase them, as soon as they take of their helmets, personally if your big and hard enough to be a criminal your big and hard enough to get knocked of your bike and get a gravel rash across your face.
