    an honest answer..

everyone on here is interested in scooters, not just a little bit interested, but really into it, learning a lot, riding a lot, and so it becomes something you work harder for, i mean, you dont go on a skyline forum asking some of them why they remortgaged their house to get the engine setup theyve wanted for a while do you?

its something people like, and they want, so you work for it, work fucking hard if need be.

^^^ Couldn't have put it better myself. You know when you see riders on road racers do you ask why they spent 5k + on making their bike half a pound lighter than a normal one? Do you ask chavs why don't they fuck off thir corsa's and get something proper? Nope cause like scooter riders they'd rather enjoy making their pride and joy something special and individual than just another run of the mill thing. A 4 stroke Yamaha Majesty would be as fast as mine when tuned but i'll be the one enjoying the manic revving, saturdays spent stripping the fecking thing and having the real enjoyment in my life.

Ohh and a scooter needn't cost the earth, my shopping list and ped totals just over a grand, less than the insurance on a car will be at 17. My wages from september to christmas will be funding mine :D

To be honest thats exactly what the topic's about anyway, you're being persistent to make the best out of what you've got like we all are. I suppose theres going to be a limit as to how much you can do to your ditec but if you're gonna go for it, good luck

The words standard, ditec and getting lashed conjure up some dark memories in my mind....then again of the 2 bikes i'm thinking of ones written off now and the other would hve a dyno sheet resembling the Pepsi Max XD, and old shape ditecs are much slower, and as for the carbed SR :w00t:

And for the record Sheepshites are slow as fuck, nailed them and their RS12 stablemate too and they all sound tinny. Then again i've nailed a Piggy NRG and Zip....suddenly i'm thinking my scooter ain't that slow :punk:
