Hi, everybody, I'm looking for a good holder for my iPhone with power bank - my iPhone is old and does not hold the charge, so I'm using it with the power bank. I want it to be waterproof and easy to be taken out - next week, I am going from Wiltshire to Manchester, then maybe Leeds and then London, so quite a few miles with stops, and I want to remove my phone when I am not nearby. So far, I have the following requirements: 1. Deep enough to hold phone and power bank 2. Waterproof 3. Easy to remove 4. Should fix in a various positions so that I could see the screen under various sunlight conditions 5. Should stay in place I put it while is shaken (when road is not that flat) I was looking at Givi because it has good reputation, but perhaps there are equally good quality mobile phone holders, but for lower price? What would be your suggestions and recommendations? Thanks a lot
I'd have a good look around E/Bay,you can usually find a considerably cheaper alternative than branded items at a fraction of the price - learnt my lesson with overpriced TomTom equipment when i was on the job. Mk.
I bought this one to put on my TDM. It takes my satnav with a 5" screen and my smartphone with a 5" screen. It has packing pieces to keep the phone/satnav screen up against the plastic front and a cable outlet at the bottom. My cable goes to a fitted usb power connection on the bike so the unit can be powered all the time it's in use. And it's waterproof. Fits to the handlebars in the position you want. i have a SW motec satnav holder thing which i am very pleased with, worth checking out to see if they do phone ones, louis.de will have stock probably
