Mixing Rollers

Went out this morning and I bought some 4g rollers.
Don't ask why... Just fancied some really light rollers.
I know it is possible to mix rollers, But what combination is it?
Do you put them in alternate like 4g, 5g, 4g etc
Or is it 4g,4g,4g,5g,5g,5g?.

you gotta make it even around the circle... or else youll bend your crank..

Id advise against mixing rollers,i was told to,but now i agree from first hand experience. Try and stick with a single set if you can. :up:

 

apart from the heavier ones wearing quicker.... whats the problem?

 

should only really mix rollers for testing purposes

 

its ok for testing purposes, and for short periods of time..

after a length of time the lighter rollers start wearing quicker, leaving the heavier ones to rattle like crazy...

also your variator ramps will wear unevenly

 

The lighter ones wear quicker.
