Every time I change my oil I end up with around 100-200ml of oil left over and iv got about 3 bottles with the same amount in each now 4 when I change it again this weekend or next Monday so can I just mix the two brands together. One is vavoline 10w40 and the other is some shell stuff 10w40 both are semi synthetic although the vavoline bottle doesn't say that I had to get the info from the seller. So is it safe to mix the two brands and use that in my engine?
Yeah, they all meet similar API and SAE specs and the additives will come from the same companies like Infineum and Lubrizol, so feel free to mix them together.
