right if i put all the electric start stuff on , .Then when i try and put the last thing on the castle nut which the kick start cogs go on to , to spin the crank shaft, there is not enough thread for it to fit on other wise it would just spin on the crank.Ive tryed malssoi something 2000 guides they didnt fit so my local mechanic said that its probery a mhr varitor and doesnt allow kick start and electric but i mean this crnt be true ?. just wanted to know if some one else have had this problem . sorry about my spelling The bike had a poloini one , so all i wanna know if its true that mhr varitor can not run all the eelctric stuff aswell, sorry but dnt tell me if i have put it on right , as ive done it 20 times now , and a mechinc has aswell.
:glare: hmmm sounds to me like its a spacer behind the variator problem. sometimes you get a new spacer with a variator, you have took the old one off 1st before you fitted the new one...
Hi, Have u squezed the clutch to allow the belt to move further down the clutch so u have more play at variator end.. as without doing this you would not be able to get everything on how its supposed to be!.. Write back
no ive looked more, its a mhr over sized you can not run electric start. So ill put the polini one on probly looses some perfomce but atleast ill have an electric start .
The over range variator is supposed to be part of the over range kit, in the kit you get the over sized variator, rear pulley and a longer belt... you can how ever buy all the bits separatley. but im not sure how succesful just fitting the variator on its own would be...
