Ive just rebuilt the engine,it's got all new parts,polini 70 sports kit,new crank bearings and seals,new plug,cleaned carb, checked all wiring,... Need help as bike was running mint befor I changed crank bearing and seals now won't run rite it will tick over all day but not rev.... I've even done the crank seals again with new seals but exsensive ones, brand new piston and rings,plug still nothing HELP
Backifiring, bogging or not reving at all?... 3 different things. I am assuming you changed everything at the same time?... Cylinder kit, bearings... When you say it was working, was it before all of that or has it ever worked with the new set up? You should have bought my Malossi MHR crank + S6 bearings
I put all the set up on and did about ten miles just to have a play, but then though may aswell change bearings and seals just for peace of mind, since ive changed these it won't run right....... It ticks ove fine soon as as you rev it it doesn't pic up at all just misses,Boggs and back fires need help I've tried everything ten times nothing seems to do the trick lol
If you have split the crank then it's a good chance that it's the seal leaking air. What sealant did you use when rejoining the crank cases cos if you dont use the proper (rubbery cement) type of sealant it will leak. Look around the casing seals for any signs of oil leaking. This issue usually shows when you rev the bike as it will both loose crankcase pressure and suck air causing the symptons you've described. They usually idle okay though. Advice given through personal experience.
