mbk polini rocket :)

    hi, i just started tuning a mbk rocket, brought it for £125 tax and test on a y reg :) piston and rings were fooked, gugin pin clip had come out and killed the the rings :( . so i started tuning with i polini sport 70 kit and a polini exhurst :) than added a tnt 21mm carb with a 90 jet (does that sound rite?) its allso got a pipercross spunge filter on :) then funds stoped for a bit lool (womans about to drop our first likle baby boy :D) anyway ive painted wheels few uther bit and bobbs just looking for a veriator and belt atm help mutch apresheated :)

    this is wen i first got it..... the rest are what ive done up till how it stands to day :)

    Nice project bud :) tnt carbs are bit shitty to be honest mate you should get a dellorto one ;)

    are you going to be a dad??? thats so nice man!! :D

    Thatks :) won't be to long now.... Yeah I've her about the carb but was just to let it breath a bit for runing around on till funs let me buy something better :) ........... Any one no a good virater kit for my engine need help /:

    I've also advancer the exhurst port timeing by about 1 an half mill, its a lot better but do I need to upret again? Thanks guys

    Nice wee rocket :) Bargain for that price and Looking good so far!

    Very likely that you will have to upjet again. Vario, clutch and belt would be good for you next.

    Thorn I would need to mate, could you recommend a good vitiator and belt? I'm thinking stage6 as I've herd bad thinkgs about the new polini ones, thanks for your input I'llready fella mutch apreshated :)

    Speed control polini is a good one :). Never tried the standard S6 one, only the oversize one :/

    finaly got some new parts :) ... got a polini 9roller veriator,koso clocks,tnt jack up kit,tnt side stand :) heres few pics as it stands now.. will be painting soon as mot ran out to day so may aswell paint the ugly orange panels and mod them a bit :)

    The standard handlebar is quite ugly... something to think about as well :)

    I no tell me about it.. Just saving up for some new bit and bobs and the hadle bars +stem, don't no what make yet...... Errrm I've got candy apple red with a slight silver flake to go with the White ATM might change tho lol

    Small update.. I've taken the engin out a striped tuner paint and recon, I.e new bearings seals flow cases best I can (first time) and port/polish barel try get a bit more power if it goes tit up I'm tuner go all out lol I'm liking the tuning now swapping parts and then the test run see how mutch difference ther is it's adictive :p

    the hardest part of all is setting the bike correctly :confused:
