been stood for ages, starts nicely but wont rev all the way up, goes at like 20 mph down the road, has got a BIT better for me holding back wheel up and really opening it up etc but even with the wheel off the ground it seems to take AGES to really rev to its max, is this coke build up? or should i take the carb and air filter off and clean it. tried to avoid taking the plastics off as they are pretty shagged. anyone selling new fairings for neos/ovetto?
Comared to my YUP 50 it is rubbish! has loosened up a bit this evening but not that great. Does the washer in the variator do this to it? Because the yup is derestricted and its as if it has a power band pardon the cliche
No, washer won't affect how it revs. Take the carb off and clean it and the jets - they'll probably be clogged if its been sitting. Also post up the main jet size - maybe someone has messed with it before you got it and its not fueling right.
I have wondeered weather they both been tweaked with becuase the both have ngk spark coils coming to the plug which surely aren't standard
