Welcome to my project page for my S reg, MBK Nitro 50cc, it's a long term project and wont see many big performance upgrades till after the winters been as this is going to be my daily runner over winter, to give my NRG a rest from corrosion ect.

Basically i bought the bike at the beginning of this year like this for £100 with a seized engine:

Pic really doesn't show how dirty it is :p

It sat in my shed for ages doing nothing whilst i finished my NRG power project. Eventually I stripped it to find the crank was fine it was just a top end seizure but the bore and piston have had it. I did also find some nice suprises during stripping which where a malossi multivar variator and a polini 2G clutch. Unfortunately I dont have many photos as the phone i had and was using to take the photos with is long gone, so i have taken some more but there will be a bit of a gap from what it was to where it will end up. (uploaded at a later date)

I did manage to find a few photos i took during the strip down:

What was left of my small end bearing:

My plans for now will just be a general tidy up and clean. I'm going be rebuilding with another standard bore rather than 70cc at the minute, however in the long term i would like to put a Malossi MHR replica 70cc kit on this and all the other necessary upgrades.

More updates a photo's will be added shortly.
