ok so i got yamaha xmax 125 and it starts but makes a rattling noise and also only does 30 ish mph and cuts out as soon as i let throttle go ? its not the transmission as i had a look at that seems alright ? any one know possible problem ?
Clean carb and air box/air filter should stop it cutting out and speed it up abit. and the rattling noise could be absolutely anything from loose plastics to a lose nut somewhere. My speedfight still makes an awful rattle sometimes from the day I got it and I have no clue what it is so ive just had to learn to live with it
