When fitting a 70 kit should you try and fit the same brand and clutch?

In saying this would they work better together or does chopping and changing work better

means fuck all tbh... just make sure if you fit a variator use the same torque drive. clutch anything can be used with anything.

rollers/belt should match the variator and your crank should match the variator or vica versa (ye malossi variators on polini cranks are a BITCH to fuck about with fitting..) crank should really match barrel but not important aslong as there both good quality.

so in short, buy whatever clutch you want. why your buying one is what im wondering anyway.. doubt you need to be that accurate on setup and if you have to ask this im pritty sure theres gonna be 40 questions about setting a clutcvh up you bought for absoloutly no gain. if you have big power and lots of bits its best to have an easily set up clutch wich you can set to bight just right, on a road/iron setup there is NO need for a clutch

Clutch wise im quite happy with it, I would like to go slightly tighter on the springs to strain those few more rpms out.

As for the variator I need to go slightly lighter on the weights so im thinking of gettin a malossi one. what with the price of rollers I might aswell upgrade the variator to, also replace the belt while im at it

yup... torque driuve can do wonders with an aftermarket variator on a 70.. so price up the lot (belt torque and var) and see if the lot is cheaper going malossi or polini.. i prefer polini tbh

ye the kit alone works REALLY well... will be impressed.. once the torques in there tho its like it pulls at low revs all of a sudden :D

buy a 70 kit... THEN buy other things to make use of the power.

question is, if you have a variator there, why is the sdtock one in place?

any var is better than stock ansd any ver will work better with a trque drive than the stock.. its common sence really
