hey will this variator add top speed? i know they are more expensive then the 180cc varos but do they work well? for example im gettin 62ish clock speed on my typhoon and 70mph clock down hill ragging it, im abit disapointed with this fort they would go quicker? want to know if this varo will help top speed? if not what will it do? and minor question for u, do i set this up like a 125 varo or a 180 varo, u mensioned about the 3 washers u change around which ones need to be moved ,also do you need a malossi x race belt with this varo? thanks scoota freakz
look, every thread you WONT get more top speed wihtout more power. if your at the top of the variator (top speed) having a different one wont help, EVER as its the same overall dimention, variators change the rate of ACCELERATION add a 172 kit, you will get 5mph more top. get some GEARS and you will gain top speed, whiole loosing acceleration basic's of tunning any vehicle, if its short geard you lengthen the gearing then tune for powert to correct lost acceleration.
