hi can anyone tell me if you can fit a malossi straight inlet manifold with a 25mm carb to a gilera runner with removing the rear mudguard or making any over modifications. cheers
do yourself a fav.. leave the hugger/rear mudguard where it is.. they fit but somtimes they have the fuel overflow on the bottom of the carb in an awkward place so need cutting off... no biggie tho
cheers for the advice... i have dellorto carb and the overflow not on the bottom so i will not have to cut it? also will the manifold affect the air&fuel mix will it need setting up again.
nah, the difference with a shorter mix is the speed in wich the carb is drawn after the reeds are opend.. thew mix is the same.. basicly yopu get a little more accell but a little less top from hafving a shorter inlet area
