Alright guys. i've just seen a primary gearing kit for my ped (Honda X8R), and have a couple of questions. Would the primary gearing affect top end or acceleration? And would my standard 50 cylinder with a pipe and 17.5 carb have enough power for the gearing?

    Cheers

id say stick with the standard gears for now, in my experience gear ups are omly needed on high spec set ups

I'd only get a gear up, if I was 70ing it.

Alrite then cheers, I might be getting a 70 soon enough, so it may be worth buying to fit with the 70. Definitely not for 50's then?

the 50cc barrel will not have enoth power to pull the longer gearing, infact it would make your bike slower

X2 the only time the gear up would be good on a ped that cant pull it, is downhills. then if you got enough power it'll do it on a flat.
