    Fairly new on tuning info/scooters.
Starting with a multivar as basis, any advice on working it fron there using malossi parts, are they the best bet?.
Looking to get a bike set up fair/not heavy tune, take it from there and 'evolve' it.
Looking along the lines of (aerox-1st choice, zip),or any good deal that comes along (2t-only),thanks.

malossi all the way for me :) I run a malossi sport 70 and its just as reliable as the stock cylinder I've even herd of people getting 10,000 miles out of them with little or no maintenance other than using a good quality fully synthetic oil, which is as good longevity wise as the stock cylinder, could even last longer with new rings, say every 5000 :)

Oh man, you're killing me with the mileage quote, did 85k on my last bike same topend 'fore it got totaled,me is defitnatly out of date!,be checking lota sites see if i can set in a one shop deal.
I will be aiming for aerox (i do love the lines),besides general opinion seems to be for build quality/ perf.spares availibility.
Off topic slightly missed out by 1/2 hour yesterday x2 piaggio zip 2t,opinion???,kinda fancyed as thought might help break mods/rock-ers mentality i grew up with.

85k must of been a 4t , on a 50cc 2t don't expect more than around 10-12k for a standard cylinder, and trust me that's takes a long time running at 50mph lol. And changing a cylinder/rings is only a 20 minute job on a 2t scooter, 4 bolts lol.
The piaggio zips are very popular choice with those in the know;) the piaggio/gilera engines get the best results from tuning than any other due to there superior transmission, and with the zip being so lightweight even with something like a sport 70 cast iron cylinder they become little wheelie machines :D

astro77 why not 85k on a two stroke? I did 65 to gilera ice 50cc standard and still worked fine but than i fitted polini 70cc sport cylinder.... anyway for tuning the best is piaggio engines, no matter zip or runner etc. I personally raced gilera runner full polini evo 3( cylinder, crank, ignition, carb, vario... etc.) and won the championship. Go for piaggio engine bro ;)

yes, why not? when compression looses and the piston/ring barely touch the wall there is nothing to loose. it can do the job for a long time

I'm really into Stage6, especially their cylinders.

They have been proven to be way better than anything when comparing performance and quality with cost.

Malossi or Polini with me, I can recommend Polini's Kevlar belts quite a few people rate them well too as do I :)
