depends on what barrel you are using and what mallosi pipe is in question.

depends on what malossi pipe your thinking of bolting on, theres different ones!!

The Laser xpro is a good powerful sports pipe, ive got a chrome one on my Runner
and the chrome finish is very good and long lasting...

if your thinking of buying the malossi MHR-replica pipe DONT!!!!!
its a bit pants and gives less power than the x pro, and costs more :(

EXHAUST: blue line: MHR replica...green line xpro...red line stage6 pro.

Ok, it has the magical three letters MHR in its name, but will it live up to the expectations? We tested it on a Minarelli engine with a Trophy, a Stage6 Pro and a Stage6 Racing kit, carburettor was 17.5mm.
Vario was blocked to see exactly at what Rpm the pipe makes best power, and also to check what torque it makes.

The diagram shows the runs with the the Stage6 Pro cylinder, for comparison we have fitted a Laser XPro and a Stage6 Pro. The full line is Bhp to Rpm, the dotted line is torque versus Bhp.

The MHR Replica gets into the band rather early, hence it is a pipe making excellent torque. Still the powerband is fairly narrow, at 8200 Rpm power is already gone again. Quite obviously the MHR Replica is not a midrace pipe but an exhaust which works well on low reving 70cc sports cylinders. Whether the comparatively stiff price is ok for the looks alone is a question you have to answer for yourself. As far as performance is concerned, other exhaust can do the same or more for a better price

but to be faif the malossi does dominate on torque

and makes all its power 1k down on the other pipes

    yep true kyle...

but the xpro costs £98 and is chrome...

The MHR replica is £148 and isnt chrome...

you could buy an xpro and a variator for the price of 1 replica pipe ;)
