malossi multivar quistions

hey i have just purchased a malossi variator. when i take of the old vairiator there is a spacer and the cog for the 2 stroke pump but i dont use the 2 stroke pump should i take this out wih the old spacer or leave it in and put new spacer on

 

even though your not using your oil pump, you will have to leave the little cog in place,
unless you can find a spacer exactly the same width...

also you use the spacer which results in your pulleys being aligned

 

thanks dave so do i just leave the cog on and replace the spacer with the 1 i got with the multivar

 

try both (not together of course), and look along your pulleys and belt, and use the one
which looks like the pulleys are in line with each other...
