I've registered on here ages ago, mainly because of the wealth of info and inspirations from others projects and of course the search function I haven't needed to ask many questions about what I wanted to know (it was already asked)

I've been squirreling parts and funds for a few projects I'm working on, I'm at the point where I'd like to order a 25mm carb and manifold for an ice 172, I'm building.
(Wiring took alot of tea and head scratching!)
Christ I'll get to the point!
My question is if anyone who has bought the malossi carb kit for hex/runner/typhoon could verify if the carb shipped with the following settings please?
    • 40 Slide
    • D37 Needle
    • 264K Atomiser
    • 108 Main jet
    • 52 Idle jet
    • 70 Choke jet
    • 200 Needle valve
    • 9010.2 Float -6.5 gram
I have found the carb offered for much cheaper than the malossi kit and would like to verify if the settings are the same? before I buy it.

Cheers for the reply Steve, the specs above are from the seller, I'm just not sure if they match what's in the malossi kit (100 quid in the price difference)

For those interested the kit on sip says main jet PHB 82, idle mixture
jet 45, jet needle D33, with
    oil pump, choke jet 60

Eurocarb has the 25mm with the adjustment screws on the left of the bike
    (Between airbox an carb)
For £103ex vat but with the settings I posted earlier might be an option for those running a pod filter

The carb jets etc won't be right anyway, it might be near but will need adjusting / parts changed to suit your engine set up. PM can supply a leaner slide as the std Malossi is a tad rich.
