Deffo sounds more like something wasn't put together properly. Clutch springs don't normally snap.

soft springs set too hard will snap..... but otherwise no they shouldent snap, you would sooner snap a clutch in half with a spring than snap a spring.. if you snapped one put harder springs in ~(so go up to greens from the stock blacks in the malossi clutch) and set it to the loosest tooth with the weights all the way out (furthest away from the pin thant holds that shoe on) if it has weights of course... then ajust up to gain revs and impact of the clutch (impact is obviously how suddenly or "hard" the clutch engages) wich is set by the weights vs the springs vs the rpm... its a little complicated but probably irelevent as i dont know if the 125 malossi clutch even come with the weights installed as stock....

so ye, up the springs and back off the ajusters
