unfortunately the other night, my bike cut out due to my mallosi mhr rep 70 bore. Taking the bore off showed that the head was fine and untouched, the barrel has slight scratching inside the bottom of it and the piston was seized and destroyed in the prosess of removing it from the crank. I know that cast iron bore barrels can be rebored to a bigger size and have a bigger piston with them. As the mallosi mhr bore is made from aluminum im not sure weather it is possible to be rebored? replies much appreciated! :good:
wouldnt really be cost effective reboring then replating and sourcing a new piston and rings.... time for a new kit...
thanks for replys but been to the local engineers and coz its ali they cant rebore as it has this nicasel coating so sent it back to pm tunning and hope they can sort it!
