I got the manuals for my Malaguti here- http://www.repairmanualclub.com/motomanuals Think I had to register for the site but it was a free DL. Has the schematics and everything. Good luck - I'd love to upgrade to the F15 from my F10 but decent European scooters are hard to come by in the U.S. A Speedfight and a Malaguti? Lucky Bastard. ~W.
There are some decent used Typhoons or Derbis if you look hard enough. Even some Malagutis from the few years they imported them. New you can buy an SR50 fuel injected or a Yamaha BW or many Chinese minarelli copies. I think they stopped importing the Typhoon because it's too hard to pass the U.S. 2t emissions regulations. No Aerox, No Jog RR, No 125 2 strokes whatsoever. You see a dragster or 125SR on ebay but it's grey market practically like finding a JDM skyline or something. There are tons of Piaggio shops but they mostly sell bigger 4t vespas along with Harleys or Honda or whatever. The colonies are rough for scootering.
pissed?!?! must be down to your state laws (friends in the usa all have piaggio scoots bought new) emmissions is a load of bull tbh. shouldent be co2 percentage of the gas, it should be the sheer ammount any vehicle spits out.. think about it, a bad running scooter still produces LESS harmfull gas than a fucking hybred!
hey F10pilot where in the u.s. are you? i have a NRG mc2 and a typh for sale my nrg is lc and tuned fabrizi racing and my typh is ac and is a 70cc
I'm in Maine - long haul to pick up a scooter. How did you get an NRG and a 172 runner titled in the U.S.? Were you able to buy them from a Piaggio dealer? The Malaguti I got for $800. and picked it up 4 hours away. I'm closer to Canada but I guess they are cracking down on some of the tuner shops in N.S. and Quebec.
i am italian from milan and moved over here in 2000 and i had my NRG since 1996 for the runner i got that in 2006 on ebay(italy) and the guy that sold it to me was cool so my dad went to see the dude and got it shipped over here and then whit the help of the forum i got it running right. Now for the legal side off it i got a typh here and so since in florida all they look is at the frame number i put all my NRG parts on the typh frame(thank god for the typh)as for the runner it is who you know that can make it legal that matters but the runner is going to die wiht me.
Hey Mario maybe you could ask your father or godfather or whatever to put a new F12r in a crate and have it dropped off in my yard. I'm sure I could get a plate on it if I had one. Then of course I would owe your family a favor... ~w.
