making the exhaust port on a 50 wider

    hey i have a yamaha aerox and i have compares the 50 exhaust port to a 70 and its tiny i was wondering if i could make it abit bigger would it make it better or is it all technical

    no, it will eat the rings. if you have to ask, its best you dont take tools to your internal engine componants :)

    no im thinking about matching the port to the exhaust but not going into the internals making it all smooth

    sorry, thought you ment the internal.... match that up and it should se good gains. horid stock shape :confused:

    Had a 70 kit on my engine before I did this and before I put the 50 back on I enlarge the port but for some resin it now won't go into high revs and won't go up hills at a good speed , I don't know if it's due to the port or if there may be a gear up kit on the bike ??

    got it sorted had to adjust the clutch
