Make your own members ride!

It's been a long time coming but I finally managed to do it.

Every member can now make their very own members ride page which can be accessed via your profile or by clicking a link under your name when your viewing a topic. Have a look at mine for an example.

What I will do after that is the members rides that people have done properly I will link on the members rides section of the website.

I'm still working on a way to pull a dynamic list onto a page on the forum and the website but this will do for now.


Note there is one bug still where when you add a new page and it tells you you cannot add anymore then the link back to your control panel doesn't work. Either wait a few secs and it will auto redirect or just click back through to your control panel.


Please note the way that it is layed out by default and try and keep to it.

For images the best way to do it is to resize them to the required size of 300px × 225px for the thumb nails and 800px × 600px for the full size then lay them out like this...

Please note image links with thumb nails currently aren't working but I am working on them at the moment.

 

You can only have one page as that's how i've set it up. You could actually put more than one on the page but make sure you title it properly.

 

Oh and everyone please note you have to set Public to 1 in overview or it wont show. Means you can work on it without everyone looking or whatever.

 

Just to say that currently you can put images in just they have to be quite small or it will look shit.

 

Seems to be a permissions thing from when it was copied over from phpbb2. Should be allowed now.
