i dont think the stand is a requirement for the MOT tbh.

i would sort the brake switch though as i know they checked both on my aerox when i MOT'd that.

I think a stand is a requirement actually, Might be unsafe leaving it against a lampost or a wall while on 2 wheels (Could roll and fall onto a kid?) so as long as it doesnt come off really.

I dont know any MOT stations that would pass you with a brakelight out though, Only a few £ and minutes to replace.

dont be silly ofcourse you need a stand for an MOT its like having a car with no handbrake

an mot is a comulsary inspection to ensure the vehicle is roadworthy, so if a vehicle is parked in an unsafe, unsecure manor on the road, then obv you going to fail

and yeh as jakesp says, brake switches are a couple of quid to replace, I would rather pay £3 for a replacement switch than paying tens times as much for a red fail slip ;)

in the most likely of cases that would be parked against a wall or resting against a lamp post if your near one

and the usual place for that is parked on the pavement which is illegal, ive had a quick look at the guide you wrote frainey but it doesnt say nothing really, so you may be right - my bad if u are ,

but then again some places may pass you if they arent strict, like a place near me called ray williams he pases people without indicators on and tells them simply to "get it fixed" lol

ive always thought it was compulsary to have a stand, dunno I could be wrong on this one
