lx problems

    my vespa lx50 was running ok but smelling quite strongly of fuel(60 main jet), so i put the original jet in (53) and it seemed to run a lot faster, quicker acceleration and top end. this is de restricted with a gianelli smile pipe. so i serviced my scoot today and adjusted the oil mixer as it still smelt of fuel quite badly, to find that next time i went out i had lost most of my power. it picks up but really slowly and the revs drop when you open the throttle to full, almost about to bog down.
    does anyone know whats causing this, i swear this scooter has never run right. also when i pull away the engine labours before picking up, as though the clutch is engaging really early?

    is the smile pipe de-rizzed as well?
    coz mabye i think the 53 is too low for de-rizzeed but a 60 is too high if its nnot de-rizzed.
    im not completely sure what im talking about, some of the other guys could help betta.


    i run a vespa s, which is basically identical to yours. i got a 70 barrel and a sports pipe and i run a 70 jet
