Knowing the route i do to college day in day out for a very long while now, i know the speeds i normally reach on these roads in different conditions etc, such as wind and rain. In the conditions today i get between 45-50mph CLOCK speed (very slight downhill too) however i was only getting 40-42mph... Acceleration seemed pretty much the same, but the top speed was noticeably less today. Yamaha Neos 02 De-restricted Sports Exhaust & Lighter Rollers. Only modifications made
Maybe the engine just wants a little service. New plug, clean carb, clean filter, fresh petrol and oil. Might just be the weather? Sometimes an engine will run rough in damp weather, moisture in the air doesnt help.
Might sound daft but check the brakes,they might be sticking on.Happens this weather with the salt. Paul
