i got my tecnigas rs exhaust fitted 2 my gilly runner sp125 and i alrdy have lighter rollers and stiffer clutch springs and malossi pannel filter n i was gettin 70 75 out of it but i just took it a quick blast along the bypass and up 2 60 was rapid but thn i was strugglin 2 get above like 62 63 mph do i need 2 up jet now or something
^^ lol x2 there only slightly better at acceleration standard is better in many ways lol although with setup im sure you might be able to get another 5 maybe 10 mph clock speed dont expect it to be faster lol ive got a technigas and im changing it soon to a jolly moto
serisly gutted now as am skinto n cnt aford another exhaust n 2 goin faster i dnt really need mare speed as i only really use it in town or short blasts up the bypass but now new problum i took it 2 work 2nyt n now it wont start
put the normal one back on?? if its better than the one you spent your money on its the obvious thing to do.. atleast then you can sell it or something :good:
no can do it snapped coz sum fanny merchent of a smart car driver reversd in2 me n no just reversd n knocked over but reversd thn kept goin n pushed it aboot 2 3 meters doon the rd thn fukd off n i hink the startin problum is ma auto choke hink its like frozze due 2 how cold it is coz am gettin gas and a spark
the problem is obvious.. the rollers are a little too light... these pipes really are shit, the stock is better.. you ether gain a tiny bit of accel and loose top end or loose accell and gain fuck all top end LOL
i still have my standard rollers shud i put thm bk in or can u advise a gd weight n is it worth the investment in a variotor kit for my set up as all i really want is 2 keep my 70 75 mph top end mibi gain abit more but most just better accel as its used in town on short rds or bendy so no room 2 really open up 2 top speed
no i cant advise roller weight, thats what i wrote a guide for.... ive just told you your pipe is shit, you will NOT gain accel and wont reach your top speed that you used to.. unless you roller it heavy and clutch the hell out of it your not gonna get any accell/top speed out of it. ether change the pipe back, play with it untill your happy with it or pay someone to set it up for you... your pissing into the wind tho as the pipes shit. ive got one in the shed, not in use.. for a reason...the roller guide was also written for a reason.. read that, buy some scales and a few sets of rollers and go from there.
I got a kundo on my skipper.. Gained a TINY bit of acceleration and lost 3mph topend haha.. But I do prefure the sound and looks, I never really ride flat out so 3mph means nothing to me. And actually, I doubt ive gained any acceleration.. Its only because all the power arrives in 1 big lump giving the "feel" of more power, when its actually producing less BHP. Get a proper pipe, I know I will be soon.. Along with a 172 kit.
if you got gains from it your stock pipe was fucked... come borrow a minter and see how shit those pipes are the 125 pipe is GOOD as standard... ive been saying it for years.. they make just as much power as any other pipe up to a certian spec... but even then its a softer spread of mor eUSABLE power... peak power is fuck all good if it comes in at 30mph then dissapears.. you want power from 1500 right up to peak rpm
Yeh I fully agree, the stock pipe is better and a stock runner pipe even more better! I think the technibrass & kundo's just give an Illusion of more power because it robs all the bottom end torque and shoves it up to the top end of the rpm range, the power just arrives in a lump giving the illusion. I recon I'v lost a good 10% of power since fitting the kundo.. Im glad I paid foook all for it lol
