Did you change the clutch springs atall? Im not entirely sure it will help, but firmer clutch springs normaly go well with a sports pipe.

Carb setup? In most causes that is the problem with the carb. I had that before on my 50 kit. Do you have open air filter? If yes then take the carb out and if its dirty give a good clean and set up as it was before. Should be fine.

Keep the airbox and dont get a open filter unless you get a 21mm carb. Remember you should be taking it easy and breaking new engine in. Did the garage upjet and replace the reeds as they usually come with the malossi kits?

What gram rollers have you got in the variator now and what did you have before? If its screaming at 40mph they sound too light and you will overev the engine and thats not what you want

I have 17.5 mm carb with open air filter (actually without filter anymore because dickheads up in uxbridge steal my filter while my ped was parked) and i have 72 main jet on it. So you dont need to run minimum 21 mm carb. any carb will do unless you have proper set up on it.

you can have a filter with any carb but it isnt in my opinion it isn't needed until you get a 21mm or above. There is no need otherwise. I remember ppl trying to nick airfilters back in the day in Croydon all the time. I don't know why theyre only 10-20 quid. Cheapskates! All i meant was keep the standard airbox until you NEED a filter :)

sort out this before buying a gear up

if the clutch was slipping itd be before 10mph, its not that. your clutch is free and fine after about 10mph. forget the clutch entirely

probably an air leek, maybe worn oil seals... chances are if it was running fine now is absoloutly gutless it wasent infact setup correctly and the engine is on iots way out. take it back to the shop.. stop fucking wiht it. the more you fuck about, the more they can blame you

and the more reason and proof they have to shift the blame onto you, the less liable they are, which in turn means the more money they can steal off you to fix it.
