Hi is there anyone from the south of London, sw or Kingston, area that can help me get my ped started who knows their way around a typhoon?
can't you do it yourself? there's plenty of lads on here who'll go out of their way to help you but if you do it yourself you'll know next time. it might just be something really simple, so whats the problem?
Yeah I am doing it myself, got it started today but it wants to go by itself think there is something up with the throttle cable or the carb isn't setup properly. Probably just being lazy but would nice to have a helping hand and someone with a bit of know how. The thing is i have a 25mm carb and i am not sure if i have a vespa or typhoon throttle cable or even if they are the same? Can anyone show me their throttle cable attached to the carb
Noticed there was smoke coming from just beneath the inlet manifold, is this reed failure? Disconnected the throttle as didn't know if it was jammed. Need to wait for someone to give me a hand to try get it started again. Any ideas about the smoke though? Did start the bike with the choke on at first. Andrew
