you have the full v5 or the new owner bit ??

and you need it to prove it is your bike and you are the registered owner.

Get the guy who bought it off you to send the new owner bit away to the DVLA with your adress pther details etc.. Logbook will arrive through your door.

If the last guy doesnt have the logbook you need to £25 to get it swapped over, DVLA will contact the registered owner check everythign is okay and if it is, youll receive the book within 6 weeks mate. ;)

Mate, logbooks are handy as hell - shows servicing, work done on your bike etc so if your selling your bike then well its gonna help alot

    NOT!

However, you cannot legally own a road registered bike without one. No logbook=a visit to Mr. Crusher :msn1:

take the gren slip to your local DVLA office, so much easier to see them in person.
