is there anyway you can hold the variator without using a locking tool or impact wrench. this may have been answered before but i cant find any previous posts under search.
lots of ways, but they injure you or break your poor engine.. just spend 6 quid. cant buy a finger (TRUST me, it hurts when it goes wrong)
well my zx is on my ped now mate but wid standard 6g rollers. im buyin 4.5s tomo and need them fitted asap.
all i do is use a flat head screwdriver, put a bolt in the case and put the screwdriver in the teeth on the variator, worked fine every time I've done it. People often moan that this is a bad way of doing it but don't listen to them *gets some insults*
only pussies do it the safe way lol. *no haresign, sensible people do it the safe way* and yada yada yada. Just use a god damn screwdriver! its easy!
ye, till the engine case snaps and you can no longer fit an oil cable ajuster (seen this loads.. could have bought a tol and have it posted by now. stop being cheap its fuckin 6 quid?!?!?!?)
ive done it now used a mates dads air gun. i fitted 4.5 gramme rollers and its running a treat. however i could do with some decent clutch springs
need to get a locking tool myself , was wondering if this 1's any good http://beedspeed.com/tool-engine-lockin ... fc1779e9f4 in my experience anythink thats universal never works properly , but has any1 used anythink like this ? cheers
