Here we have my Aerox 50 for sale.. .. again. First off. This is a long and detailed ad.* anything you want to know, just ask. 'LK04 ARX' is the numberplate, i can bet money that you wont see another plate like this , its FACTORY ! It has NO mot OR tax... .........Only thing might fail on would be the seat latch... i never put anything of value in there so never needed it to lock. 8700 GENUINE miles in 8 years...about 10/20 of them done by me. 6 previous owners, me being the 7th.. full v5 and one key... Came to me in 2010 looking like a dog for the grand sum of £400.. , it had an orange engine and missing plastics and didnt even start ( bit of a blind sale) so then i set about replacing pretty much engine-wise.. When i got it, it already had a Malossi multivar variator and yellow clutch springs and a Leo Vince RR Exhaust, which is pretty rare and rated BETTER than the ZX range. Iv spent close to £1000 in parts and labour charges Fast forward to 2012 and ...... Its now black and white with various stickers covering the bike ( i have a sticker fetish) LOL.. has a Blue back wheel and a blue with red lipped front wheel and Relentless cans round the forks, looks good.. Everything bought for this bike was BRAND NEW, apart from the radiator and a couple of plastics which came to about £75... BRAND NEW bits i got are as follows >>>>> * MTKT handlebar conversion plastic * front indicators *New rear 'nobbly' style tyre * Stage6 waterpump (chrome) * brake light switch * thermostat (not fitted, but comes with the bike) * Audi r8 style front light in white ( also have a black one as spare ) * oil plug (purple) * chrome ignition surround * speedo drive unit * engine casing bolts in purple * 17.5mm dellorto carb * standard airbox *reed block+petals * Polini racing belt * indicator flasher relay * rear suspension shock (black ) * Stage6 jackup * horn * Handlebar conversion+Stem * Throttle cable * new jets * Rear lexus light * spark plug * Head studs and bolts * Battery * Fuel tap * Waterpump cover case+waterpump repair kit * Red pro-grips * 50cc cylinder+head+piston* >>>>i do believe this still needs running in ........) * 50cc replacement piston * and about £150 worth of paint as its been 3 colour combos.. the bad points are >>>>>> * seat latch broken * no battery cover * electric start doesnt work, but starts FIRST time off the kick ! ..................and thats it. Paintwork isnt 100% but thats because its been moved around so many times, but its still better than a lot iv seen for sale! Rear tyre has been on for a day and not moved an inch .Fresh. Iv owned 5 aerox's , i know what theyre worth from rough to mint to i think this one is priced fairly, its not a dog and is pretty good looking IMO..... Also, it seems everytime i get a sticker, it goes on the bike, so its got loads of stickers in various places..lol And unlike a lot of the ads on gumtree selling mopeds ( haha ) ....This does a Genuine 50mph on flat, maybe more as i let go of the throttle when i got to 50. All you need to do is take it for an MOT and after doing something about the seat latch ( iv read it can be passed by using a bungee to hold it in place for the mot ? ) totally up to you how you fix it,,, Tax and insure it and away you go. i was going to 77cc it but i dont have the money or the time . Long and detailed description , got to be thorough and honest ! Im asking around the £700-£750 mark. Its been up before as you'll know but its had a LOT of time effort and money go into it..and maybe a bit of love as i dont want even to sell it but facing facts that i really need a car Ill get some more photos as soon as iv found my camera, all the new/recent pics are on it! chubz-rs@hotmail.co.uk ..........or obviously get at me through here ! your asking a bit much for that mate....aerox's do not hold value i just sold mine that was perfect with evo panels and tuned with just under 12bhp and also was 07 plate for just over 800
forgot to update this, on scooternations these days. want offers of £650 ono...... now as i need it gone. which is now the same price as before but iv spent about 150 quid on parts for it to pass an mot, eg#= indicators, front speedo conversion panel , tyre etc etc,,,,,. and as i bought it for 400 quid.. and in the last year iv spent nearly a grand on it on brand new parts and labour charges,,,, i think i priced it fairly. obviously as expected im gonna lose money.... and my whole engine is basically brand new, not to mention the probably One of a Kind numberplate and low mileage of 8700. This could be around 10bhp with a decent crank+70 bore+19mm/21mm carb.
all these ped riders and nobody wants a decent cheap aerox with low miles, a SICK one off numberplate, a rebuilt engine and a bar conversion ? turned down a cr80, 300 quid and 500. £600 ono
i know mate, did think about it, its a 2002 model too, but to be totally honest I cant ride geared bikes hahah... i would be able to learn in an hour lol... just never wanted to try on someone elses bike didnt wanna flip it haha.. might give him a message, but would rather a bigger bike like 125/250, 80 is a bit small im 6'3 lol
Yeah but what I mean is, swap for the bike and sell it straight away because it will be easy to sell. You could even get him to give you some money aswell
True, could do, but then another problem with crossers is.... i live in an area where the youths like stealing them... people will jump over fences and break stuff to get them... to be fair nobody would get it out my garden, but still, might not sell for a while or not for as much as i want
Ebay it or gumtree it mate, someone will give you £600 for it my mate sold his polini evo 2 aerox on a 53 plate for about 750-800 iirc
i cant find anyone with an ebay account lol... and its on gumtree.... found a couple of little unexpected problems though someone offered me 475 but i dont think im gonna take that. Got someone coming to look at it tomorrow come to think of it,,,,if he doesnt want it, im wondering weather to get some new panels.. but i dunno... undecided yet lol.........but if it goes.. ill probably be on the lookout for a 70cc rox with tax and test. so i can get some proper parts on this one this time round. and actually use it !!!!
