well well i have jsut put a set of 6.0 g rollers in the other day it was doing all good the other day and then today quik acceleration up to 10mph n thn jus goes very slow but still increases speed. the 0.5 g a added didnt change the top speed either any help guys thanks also my throttle seems stiff could my cable be a bit old a need replacing?
dont know how many times i gotta say this but rollers DONT give you more top end unless the weight is too light to reach the top of the variator ramp.. lighter rollers needed
thanks m8 well yes i have 5.5g as standard on my sr so i have a set of 5.5g to fit my malossi variator so i shall put them in 2morrow
ok i am running a 74 main jet and i am chocolate what jet would you sugest if i was to run a open filter??
don't run the open filter 'til the weather improves, it's amazing the ammount of shit that hits the back of the piston when they are fitted. it won't give any better performance either. as for the rollers, mine is doing the same, gonna weigh them then get some lighter ones. i get to 25 mph and the revs just die to about tickover. it's really embarrasing when your'e trying to outdo someone off the lights.
just weighed mine, 6 grams, that's deffinately why its as flat as a fart, needle file time, wanna get to 5.25 grams. or i might just mix 5s and 5.5s (assuming i can't get hold of 5.25's
