About a week or so ago my indicators started playing up, the Left indicator sort of flashes once then stays on, my right indicator flashes ok just a little slow :wtf:

And tonight with my lights on i noticed the brightness of the lights kept changing :msn1:

so i flicked it onto the slightly dimmer light and it was ok, it looks as though it goes onto main beam all on it's own or some crap.

could this be the flasher unit or something? :eh:

Well tonight was fun, coming home around 1am ish my front lights stopped working, luckily i live 10-15 minutes from work and i had my mate on his speedfight 50 to stay infront ( this was a slow ride back! )

anyway after 5minutes or so of riding, a police car went past and then i looked behind a few seconds later to see them turning in the middle of the road with there lights on, by this time i was thinking of how i'll blag it etc.

anyway my mate on his 50 just ragged it, so i followed, went down some small 1 way roads in the middle of town and lost them without really trying or me giving a shit if they did pull me, im 99% sure they were following me because we made quite a few turns onto different roads and they were slowly catching us. :bird:

So tomorrow i'll whip the panels off and check the fuses, wiring etc.

not to sure what is causing this.

Rear light / brake light works fine.

    left indy stays on

right indy seems to work fine

front lights don't work, AT ALL :msn1:

    Could be fuses and battery.

Weak battery can cause all sorts of weirdness !

go and buy a multimeter (about ?7.50 from any good automotive shop) and test the switches work and everything is earthing ok.

also check your bulbs have clean connections, they may have corroded.

All seems to be sorted now, the front light problem was because one of the main connectors simply came lose unplugged it's self :p

so thats now back in and i've made sure it won't be unplugging it's self any time soon!

The indicator problem couldn't of been anything more simple really, one of the connectors came lose so thats back in.

Im pretty sure the cause of this is my excessive wheelying!

just a heads up for all you back wheel nutters! :punk:
