Hi , I was wondering if I could get some advice . Whilst riding back home last night in torrential rain my bike cut out about 4 times . After a few minutes it would fire back up again then die again after 1/2 mile. Got to it this morning hoping that when it dried it would start and still not firing .. any suggestions on what to try when I return from work today?

Spray wd 40 all round electrical connections, cdi, coil, ht lead, handlebar kill switch, side stand switch etc. Tank the tank/seat off to get to wiring.

Great I'll do all that tonight and hope for the best... if I've tried start it that many times that it started to buz, do you think I should charge the battery ? Or will it be ok if it kicks in? It's a new battery ... just was getting peed on yesterday so was relentless on the electric start .

as marsh says wd40 all connections, you can also use GT85 its rubber/plastic safer than wd40
