i bought it about 8 yrs ago as a 1600 laser, changed just about everything on it since, it now has a vulcan engines 2.1 pinto in it
not to shabby looks quite nice for a D reg, someguy round my way has a matt black one looks nice gotta love an old ford
your thinking granada's m8.... these had ether a cologne v6 (2.8i) or the essex v6 (3 litre carb) cant see any of ours under the snow.. we have 2 snow cars
yeee i am minor get confused im on about the 2.9 cossie scorpio's always liked the look of a capri tho
no.... the granada shitter was a 2.9i (usually a giah) you wouldent have EVER seen a cossie granada... they sold VERRY FEW. youve seen many 2.9i's wiht cossie stickers on them
big old peice of shit..... the 2l 16v turbo wipes the flor wiht them... plus there wider than a small block v8.. waste of time.. hence they never sold many. anyway back on topic please
just the cosworth badge that made my eyes go hock: dave wheres the drifting lol ? you were always telling me you liked to go sidewards in that thing
my son made me reload the 2 photos, after he edited them i shot them on my sony compact camera on auto, and the snow looked blue lol... anyway now the snows white, and the pics arent as dark, apparently theyre still not perfect, but he said they'll do :hmm:
my old man had a vulcan 2.1 pinto with weber 48`s on it in his westfield kit car. had it dyno`d somewhere in castleford at 196bhp! was a tad thirsty though.....
yeahh nice one mines vulcan's 165bhp version with weber 45's, less peak horse power but more torque, which is handy as a capri weighs about twice the weight of a westfield
They are tail happy monsters, dad had two of the Sport ones, with the Recaros etc, You had her sideways yet fella'?
Yip Ive been round in one as a passenger. My cousin jist bought the 2l pinto jobby in the 80s,first day out we spun it about 4 times round down a hill(thought I was a gonner)aaaah the 80s lol. loads of long nosed Henrys around then. C'mon Dave wheres the drifty pics? Paul
A lad named Louie in the village had the original Osselli 3.1 developement Capri That was a true beast in every sense. Not seen him or the car for a few years now but he used to piss about in the snow and it was dfficult to even GET in a straight line
