okay so i have a leo vince zx pipe had it for a while now . the other day i looked under the bike and there is oil leaking from one place on the pipe i know that the mount i have on it is not the proper one because my mates have the same pipe , i brought a proper mount and it doesnt seem to fit but with the mount that is on now i have to put spacers behind it to make sure it doesnt hit the wheel :/
Just make sure it is fitted on to the exhaust port properly, does it sound like it is blowing, start it up and put your hand near the exhaust port and see if you can feel exhaust gas leaking? If you can it need fitting correctly loosen both the 10mm bolts and then tighten evenly if there tightened evenly it shouldnt leak?
well are you talking about the exhuast bracket is not the right one for the pipe? or do you mean a gasket that goes between the exhaust and the exhaust port?
okay the mount is straight but some of the old tt pipes had straight mounts so i thought it was okay so i put it on and it rubbed my wheel and was blowing got an exhaust gasket and some spacers and now it clears the wheel but i dont know if its blowing , everytime i go out i look when i get back and there is a build up of oil
