yes sports exhausts generally are noisier than standard pipes, running the standard air box will make it a bit quieter if your currently using an open filter

it might have a little hole somewhere or its not tighten up near the cylinder, or the stuff inside the endcan is gone. but tts are noisy i had it on 70cc aprilia :)

ive just taken my zx pipe of my nrg (the same nrg as you ) as it was so stupidly loud. i thought the wadding might need repacking but a brand new can came up for sale so i bought that and it was no better

yeh they are the zx is more motocross sound to it but i have a tt pipe ive just never used it and the hole down the centre of the tt end can is double that of the zx so maybe thats why yours is a deeper sound to mine but yours bud has that bwaaang bwaang sound which is a tell tale sign of being a bit lean what size jet you running

standard is 53 i started with a 65 then went down to a 62 which most peaple use but i found it a bit rich so ended up with a 60 and it was spot on.
you want a box a 6mm dellorto jets i got mine from ped parts (i think) a box of sizes from 52 to 72 was about £12.
your not fitting a open filter are you ? and leave the brass plate in the carb intake

i wouldnt like to say budlike i say the tt and zx have a different size bore in the end can and different size expansion chambers which will give different back pressure and affect the mixture in a different way like i say your best of getting a box of jets and a new spark plug or 2 and start high and work back down or if there is a garage near you wich a dyno they dont charge much to jet/setup mopeds most ive ever paid on one was £15 and it was 2 fella's on it for an hour

Nrgs come jetted 56 as stock i think so 60 will more than likely be too lean

Dont you reckon premixing petrol is more of a pain in the arse than sorting the leak? :p

pre mix is all good if you have a lc ped and running an expensive setup but on an air colled 50 id just buy a second hand tank of fleabay there only a ££££
