Sounds like a warped disc, likely result of leaving lock on unfortunately.

Thought as much! Only just put new pads on the back last week so there fine. Is it safe to ride for a week it so until I have the money for a new disk?

personally wouldnt, a disk is what £20-£40. but it can be done. if its riding OK now then carry on at own risk but be carefull. up to you what you wanna do.

Dam thing just keeps costing me money all the time. Also any idea what size socket I would need for my rear wheel nut?

wouldnt have a clue, different for all scoots. best to get a good set, a good breaker bar (invaluable) and a good torque wrench too. all tools thatll serve you well in the years to come.

ridden with warped disc just not worth doing. can be done though.
itll vibrate a lot as said by that prat above. just best to get a new disc. has to be done. it may cause uneven wear on your pads though as the pads wont be contacting the disc straight like normal, the pads will be hitting the disc in a certain spot more on one side at a certain spot where you left the lock on, where the disc is warped. as the pads contact it unevenly one pad could become more worn than the other, hence why I suggested replacing pads at same time. might be another £10-£15 but brakes are safety the way I see it.
